Experience The Future of Commerce at Internet World EXPO

Trade fair news: 2018 with new names and new trends

Munich, November 2017 – The Internet World Fair continues its development in 2018: It will be bigger and more international than ever, with more than 200 speakers from Germany and abroad and more than 17,000 visitors. As counterpart to Internet World Congress, which meanwhile takes place annually in autumn, the Fair returns next year under its new name, Internet World EXPO, with presentation space for more than 400 exhibitors. Visitors to the Fair will gain insight and updates on latest technologies and solutions for digital trade, along with future trends in E-Commerce – both national and international.

“Our strength lies in the presence of decision-makers and market leaders”, says Dunja Koelwel, who assumed management of the Fair this year. “2018 will see innovators not only on stage, but also at their stands. Such exchanges through direct talks during the Fair and beyond assume their own quality.” And as a long-time former editor-in-chief of an e-commerce magazine, she treasures the value of such exchanges and wishes to position Internet World EXPO as the “place to be” for all topics relevant to the world of E-Commerce.

Key topics this year include, among others, omni-channel and the increasing cross-linking of stationary and online trade, logistics & fulfillment and their seamless integration into commercial processes, as well as augmented reality solutions as sales support, or artificial Intelligence for targeted marketing.

Internet World is Europe’s leading E-Commerce Fair and next year will see it being held for the 22nd time. In 2018, national and international exhibitors and sponsors will present products and services throughout 22,000 square metres of exhibition space in two exhibition halls. A visit to the fair is free of charge – Exclusive tickets for special events will be made available to early bookers in the coming weeks on our Homepage.
